About
I am an Associate Professor (Maître de Conférences) in Computer Science at the Engineering department of Sorbonne Université since 2023. I am a member to the DELYS team at the LIP6 laboratory.
I was previously Postdoct Researcher in the MYRIADS team at the IRISA research center in Rennes, where I worked with Prof. Guillaume Pierre on Data Stream Processing platforms autoscaling in Fog Computing.
I did my master in Italy at the University of Bologna and then I moved to France where I obtained my PhD at Université Côte d’Azur, working at the i3s laboratory in Sophia Antipolis, France. I was co-supervised by Prof. Fabrice Huet and Prof. Guillaume Urvoy-Keller. I defended my thesis, entitled “Evaluating the impact of streaming systems design on application performance”, in February 2021.
Research Interests
My research interests include in general the design and the optimization of distributed systems for data processing in the edge-cloud continuum, with a particular focus on:
- Data Stream Processing
- Serverless Computing
- Orchestration, Elasticity and Auto-Scaling.
